Puting Buhangin
Pagbilao Grande, Pagbilao, Quezon
One of the famous beaches dotting along the coastal towns of the province. Puting Buhangin, which literally means “white sand” beach, is located at Pagbilao Grande, Pagbilao, Quezon. A pure white sand beach, with crystal-clear and calm waters. The white sand beach stretches 70 meters long and 10 meters wide. A small cave known to locals as Kwebang Lampas is found at one end of the beach. It is a favorite site of swimmers in Pagbilao during the summer months.

How can we get there and where can we possibly stay in pagbilao if we can not have an overnight stay at Puting Buhangin?
i’m not sure if there’s a hotel in pagbilao but lucena city is just 15 mins away. room rates there ranges from P700-3,000 hotel types from 2 star - 5 star.
about the direction i have to asked my friend who brought us there
hmm .. if possile san poh pde mgstay kung gs2 magovernyt?? may byad din poh ba?? kxe poh were planning to go there ..
maybe if you have tents?? but i doubt it if the care taker will let you sleep there. plus they dont have any facilities at all like shower room or bathroom. mas ok lng sya pag day trip
I know this place, I often go here every summer. This is a very nice place, but there is no electricity, for the fact that only a walking distance away from a power plant of Pagbilao. hehehe….
cno gusto pumunta????
Had anyone tried to stay overnight here? I have camping/outdoor gears. Anawangin is quite overcrowded already
this place is awesome. my partner and i went there last july 4. we stayed at silangang nayon and they arranged a boat for us to go to puting buhangin. you can’t stay overnight at the beach but you can during the day. the sand is really white and the water is clear. lots of fauna and flora too. if you’ll visit this place, make sure you keep it clean - this is an unexplored and unexploited beach. let’s keep it that way.

very beautiful poh tlaga 2ng sa place na 2 kc napuntahan ko na 2..
If you’re from Quezon City, you can reach this place via Jac liner (Kamias terminal) going to Lucena Grand Terminal. Fare as of now is P218. Then from there, there are vans going to Pagbilao. fare I think is P50. Then a long tricycle ride going to this place. Tell the driver to drop you off Lukang beach. Not sure of the fare, coz we had a day trip here via banca from Borawan island in Padre Burgos which is a bout 45min away…quite far…and banca costs us 700. I think its much cheaper if you travel by land. But according to Aling Divina, the caretaker…proper way to stay here is to ask permission from Atty. Pedro Lukang first. He’s the owner of the place. He has a motor shop, Lukang Motors, located at Lucena City proper. Go there first, ask permission, they have a logbook of guests (daw). Pag pumayag, e di good. Puting Buhangin is really worth going…sobrang ganda, promise! Next time, I’ll have to meet Atty. Lukang…baka payagan nya kaming magovernight.
hello! Good Day! Could you please help me go there? I mean, I’ve been dreaming of this place years ago and I would like to see this place in reality. It happened that there is this group from a call center that would like to join me and they wish to experience Quezon Province. I told them there is this place that we could be proud of in Quezon that is comparable with boracay. But what I know is this place is a much better place than any other;
