Maira-ira Beach (Blue Lagoon)
Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte
It is a hidden bay found at Maira-ira Point, which is a half-moon in shape edifice, by the Nacatnagan Cliff in the east and the Dos Hermanos in the north. This place is where you can escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Reaching the place is quite tiresome for it is around 2.5o kilometers away from the highway with rigged roads and it is found at the interior part of Sitio Malingay. On the way is thick forest and you can also have glance of the sea. Malingay Cove is famous for its crystal blue water and fine white sand.
How to get to Maira-ira beach (Blue Lagoon)
From Saud, Pagudpud: If one is billeted at any of Saud beach?s resorts, you can take a tricycle to the highway, to the clamshell monument (not more than P30/10 minutes) and wait for any Cagayan-bound bus. Again, get down at Gawa (P20/15 minutes) and take a tricycle to the beach. Direct tricycle transfers from Saud to Maira-ira can cost anywhere from P300-P500.

Hi, we are asking your permission if we could use your pictures of the Maira-ira beach or Blue Lagoon in our website.
We are a new resort situated in front of the Blue Lagoon and we are on the process of promoting the beach.
Thank you!
sure!
Hi Mr. Karl Zoleta,
Thank you for letting us post your shots of the Maira-ira beach in our website.
May we also request if you could send us a bigger and clearer resolution of the pictures above? (about 1-2 mb file)
We are planning to include those pictures in our brochure.
We would like to ask if it’s for free or with a fee?
Thank you!

Mairaira was a cool nice place… lalo na ung big chunk of formation na may butas, i think it’s called “maganda”… my husban and i went on our North Luzon Loop tour last 2006, 2 months after our wedding. we weren’t able to set foot (at least for me kc he has gone there once) at Mairaira because there was a typhoon at that time… not advisable to go through… la din kc kme mkita na resort there at that time… i hope we could go back there someday… and experience Mairaira’s tranquility.
grabe ang ganda nmn dyan.. we are planning to go there by aug hope we can visit here at maira-ira beach..
ini merupakan hal yang luar biasa yang saya lihat, keindahan pantai tersebut sangatlah elok dan sejuk untuk di nikmati
