   just visited this place recently… and wow!!! they have a pool now for their guest… and there is no additional charge even if you use the pool… what a great place to stay… very reasonable priced place… thank you for this site… i discovered this keni po in tagaytay

    good news… the 1500 php rate is only on fridays and saturdays… we checked in last sunday and we were only charged 1200php… and we were able to use the pool … and its true… no additional charge

    We visited Tagaytay last May 2-3,.we told the tricycle driver to drop us off Keni po but he brought us to a room for rent. He told us that Keni po is charging a higher rate,. I was so disappointed,.Next time I’ll go visit ur place. I heard a lot of gud things about this place.

    @bacon thats sad tricyle drivers usually get commisions on their partner hotels next time just insist that they bring you first in your preferred hotel before they bring you to the hotel that they are suggesting

    @ivan i’m sorry bro as far as i remember there are no restaurants or even carenderia near the place the nearest is in rotonda where mang inasal, jollibee, n some local restos are located.

    But you can try their menu i think its 75 per order i usually order spareribs and its not bad for my taste and for the price not bad at all

    @ces I’ve stayed at keni po twice but on those times we are always a walk in customer so I just paid a deposit then paid them full upon checking out.

    I’m not sure about booking ahead of time..if they require to deposit the payment in full.

    hi. I have read in one of Keni Po’s site that they allow reservation without having to pay for the room, as long as you get there before 4pm or else the room will be open to others who’ll inquire. my bf and i are planning to stay there on Oct 30,saturday.

    Reservations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Reservation should be at least one (1) week in advance on ordinary days and at least two (2) weeks on holidays and weekends.

    To guarantee reservation, full payment is required for advanced booking through our front desk or through any of Metrobank branches nationwide. Account number to be furnished once booking has been confirmed. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERRABLE should you fail to avail of the reservation.

    For reservation without payment, the room is reserved till 4:00 pm as courtesy resevation, otherwise booking is forfeited.

    been to tagaytay yesterday and went home today. i love keni po! its so close to tierra de maria and picnic grove, plus the hostel itself is great! the place is very clean, staff are nice and friendly.. the pool is fantastic! everything! there nothing bad that i can say about keni po.. we definitely will go back there before the year ends!

    my hubby and i have stayed here several times on the twin sharing room.worth the price we paid, reasonable rate.food tastes good and affordable.staff are friendly.cable, water pressure and heater are functioning well.pool is small but nice.overall good value for your money.

    Just talked to them yesterday. Updated price for a room for two, overnight stay is Php 1,500.00 without breakfast but with free use of pool. They’re near Picnic Grove and People’s Park. Might go there this weekend and stay for one night. Not yet sure though how to book rooms, i think they require 50% deposit via bank transfer 1 week prior to your stay.      We’re very disappointed with their service at keni po(poor service). Nagpunta kami dun sa Tagaytay last Jul 29, 2011 at naisip agad namin puntahan yung KENI PO dahil sa akala namin ok dun. Dumating na kami ng Tagaytay ng 5pm so wala na kaming time na maghanap hanap pa na affordable at ok na hotel kaya dumerecho agad kami ng KENI PO, pero nung nandun na kami parang masyadong abala yung receptionist/cashier sa kausap nya sa phone ni d man lang kami pansinin, ang nag asikaso na lang samin yung guard nila. Hinatid na kami sa room namin which is P1,700/night( 2 adults with 1 kid).Nung magbabayad na ako, gusto ko kasi magbayad na that same day d pa rin tapos yung girl sa kausap nya which is napag alaman ko nag iinquire lang pala na halos kausap nya na for more or less 15min( dahil nung dumating kami kausap na nya yung nag iinquire hanggang sa nailagay na namin mga gamit namin at pumunta ako sa receptionist d pa rin sya tapos makipag usap at pinaghintay nya pa ako ng mga 10min-too bad! ) na pwede naman sana kinuha nalang muna nya yung no at tinawagan nalang nya uli yung kausap nya at inasikaso nya yung customer na magbabayad..to make the story short, d po maganda yung serbisyo nila at d rin naman kagandahan yung room( yung rm na binigay samin which is P1,700). 2nights po kami mag stay sana kaso d na namin inextend, nakapaghanap kami the nxt day.. Yung tapat lang mismo nila LITTLE FALLS INN mas ok dun as in ok dahil yung rm na binigay samin with balcony at kita yung view ng taal at napanuod pa namin yung fireworks ng Days Hotel Sat night mula sa balcony ng room..meron silang worth P1500 pero kinuha namin mas malaking room( good for 3-4 pax worth P2000) Mas maganda kung makakapaghanap kayo mismo dun sa Tagaytay mas maraming mura at mas ok na Inn or hotel…

     that it is 1200 for weekdays and 1500 on weekends… sundays are considered as weekday… just stayed there last night… i availed the weekday rate…

     if you are going there on a weekend… be sure to book early…

     because of their very reasonable rate… they are ussually fully booked…

     and the place is near picnic grove and on the way to peoples park in the sky… that another reason the place is nice …

     .. I went to tagaytay just yesterday and stayed at Keni po for a night. It was a cozy place to stay, nice and clean rooms, (mine has a balcony overlooking the pool) courteous and friendly staff, delicious food… It’s two thumbs up, a very great value for money.. (P1,200 only)

     just recently stayed at Keni Po and got the P2000 family room..We were also showed the P1700 room (since it was saturday) which I believe is only P1500 on weekdays. But we opted to get the family room since we initially have plans on cooking as this provides a kitchenette. WE were so pleased with the service and the room was so clean, cozy and with the amenities, wifi, pool, cable tv, ac, hot and cold, ref, kitchen (for family rooms and villas only) and a spacious parking..what else are you looking for? it was even more that what we expected and paid for. Surely i will come back to KEni PO and even recommend this to my friends!

     i went to tagaytay this weekend… and too bad i was not aware of this very helpfull website when i was searching for a place to stay…

     too bad because i was not able to make a reservation at KENI PO…

     what happened was we had no choice but to try the only one with available room…LITTLE FALLS… which is not nice…( or try it to see for yourself, ouch)

     posting my experience this to help others not to make my mistake…

     guys… dont make my mistake… if your planning to go to tagaytay with a tight budget…but want a nice, decent, and will make your vacation worth the effort… book in advance in keni po… or just go there in weekdays…
